From Manon’s Mind to…
My journey began with my jewelry brand Manon’s Mind, where I create high-quality pieces inspired by the nature and culture of Curaçao. Building my own business and discovering the power of collaboration with other creative entrepreneurs led me to the idea of Montée Collective.
Montée?
Montée means “rise” or “elevation”, and that’s exactly what I aim to achieve with this platform. It’s a place where we, as creative minds, support each other, share ideas, and celebrate our successes together. Through my own experiences as an entrepreneur, I’ve learned how important it is to embrace your environment and expand your network. Montée Collective is my way of giving back to the Curaçao creative community.
A Little Piece of My Story
I’ve been with my husband Ron for over 10 years, and we’ve been happily married for 4. At the start of 2025, we made the leap and moved to Curaçao together with our fluffy white cat, Snowy.
Creativity has always been a part of me. With my ADHD brain, I’ve tried just about every hobby under the sun, but nothing stuck for more than six months…
Until I discovered jewelry making. During a time of illness and recovery, I started crafting pieces by hand and I haven’t stopped since.
